Michael Provitera and Michael Edmondson, Editor of the Human Resource Development and Organizational Behavior Collection

Dr. Michael J. Provitera is a Professor of Management and Certified Positive Psychology Coach and Facilitator. Michael is an editor for Business Expert Press in the Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management division. His focus is on improving organizational effectiveness and enhancing individual success. He has trained over one thousand executives and taught management to over two thousand undergraduate and graduate students. His clients have been Pfizer, Trane, CEO Business, Interval International, the Adrian Dominican Sisters, and the City of North Miami. Michael is sought by reporters for quotes in prominent media such as Forbes, US News & World Report, The Daily News, Fox Business, Higher Ed Jobs, Hr. Com, NBC News, and The Washington Times.

Michael has published over Sixteen books and over one-hundred articles and case studies as well as a children’s book series called Happy Go Lucky. His children’s books have been sent to Tanzania, Eastern Africa, to an Orphanage and school there. Proceeds from his books go to the Tanzania Eastern Africa Orphans.

Michael Edmondson, PhD, is the Associate Provost for Continued Learning at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the Vice President of the Learning and Development Initiative at the New Jersey Innovation Institute. Dr. Edmondson also serves as the Co-Editor of the Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior Collection for Business Experts Press (BEP). To-date, Dr. Edmondson has published 9 books with BEP. He has taught at several institutions of higher education including Thomas Edison State University, Rider University, and Ocean County College. He holds a PhD in History from Temple University and is the recipient of many awards and honors including a Distinguished Leadership Award from the Monmouth, New Jersey, Regional Chamber of Commerce and an Entrepreneurial Inspiration Award by The Empowerment Group, for his work with minority entrepreneurs in Philadelphia. Dr. Edmondson sits on the board of the National Association of Continuing Higher Education and has completed the program at the AGB Institute for Leadership & Governance in Higher Education. Dr. Edmondson also authors the growth mindset daily blog entitled Navigate the Chaos and is a frequent presenter, workshop facilitator, and keynote speaker.
