Milan Frankl
Dr. Milan Frankl, MBA, PhD, is a distinguished technology executive and academic specializing in large-scale systems development, IT strategy, and business process re-engineering. His core expertise encompasses strategic planning, project management, and systems development methodologies. Dr. Frankl’s career began at IBM Canada, followed by a role as Director of Clearing Systems for Quebec’s Desjardins Savings Cooperative. Here, he led a CIDA-sponsored international initiative, successfully implementing a financial infrastructure project for the Latin American Cooperative Movement (COLAC) in Panama. He then served as Director of Consulting Services and Partner at CGI, spearheading strategic technology initiatives for private and public sector clients. Relocating to Victoria, he held various senior executive roles, including CEO and CFO, for Canadian technology companies. He now contributes to IT advancement through academia, holding appointments as Professor Emeritus at University Canada West and Adjunct Professor at the University of Victoria.
