Michel Borgeon is currently professor at the International University in Geneva (IUG), teaching International Relations and International Trade Promotion at Masters’ level. Prior to joining the IUG, he was a senior trade promotion officer at the International Trade Centre (ITC). He was also short term training consultant for the World Bank in Washington, for Africa and the Caribbean region. Mr. Borgeon published several books for the French Foreign Trade Centre in the trade promotion area (“investing in Asia” and “doing business in Singapore” ), and training manuals in export promotion for ITC. He also created web sites for NGOs, a virtual exhibition Center for world handicraft and an Information Technology exhibition Portal. He also developed two simulation games in trade promotion and export development for IUG. Mr.Borgeon hold a PHD from University of Paris- Sorbonne (thesis on international trade with emerging economies) and a Diploma of Political Sciences in Paris (MBA).
