James Marion

Dr. James Marion, PMP, PMI-RMP, is the Department Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Decision Sciences and Analytics for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide. He has been teaching for Embry-Riddle since 2009 and became Department Chair in 2020. Dr. Marion is a fellow of the American Society of Engineering Management and a member of the Project Management Institute. His experience includes leading large organizations in multiple product launches in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, as well as significant experience with Japanese companies including NEC and Panasonic. Dr. Marion has a PhD in Organization and Management with a specialization in Information Technology Management from Capella University. He holds an MS in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and a MSc and an MBA in Strategic Planning as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Research Methods from The Edinburgh Business School of Heriot-Watt University.
