Ross McDonald

Ross McDonald, PhD, is an experimental educator living and working in New Zealand. He was responsible for establishing the first full time business ethics courses in the country and for co-ordinating the areas of ethics, social responsibility and culture at the University of Auckland Business School. In 2011 he was nationally recognized for contributions to education in New Zealand and admitted into the Ako Aotearoa Academy of Teaching Excellence. In 2012, educating for responsibility was judged to be the most “creative and inspiring” model for changing education to meet the sustainable goals of the UN Rio +20 agenda by the Principles of Responsible Management Education group (PRME), Aarhus University and the UN Global Compact Office.
