Kent N. Gourdin

Kent Gourdin (DBA, University of Tennessee) is the director of the Global Logistics and Transportation Program and a full professor in the School of Business at the College of Charleston, in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to assuming that position, he served on the faculty in the College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Gourdin spent more than 20 years as a transportation officer in the United States Air Force, with assignments in Germany, Thailand, Korea, and Turkey. His research interests include the global airline industry, airline service quality, and military transportation. He is also the author of Global Logistics Management, Second Edition.
