San Allen
San Liahona Allen began his professional career at age 21 as the owner and president of a small podiatric supply company and orthotics manufacturer. By age 25, he graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Industrial Engineering, sold his business, and became an engineer in the military and aerospace industries. During this period, San engaged in developing continuous improvement, organizational transformation, and cultural change programs. Over time, San shifted into new industries and advanced his career. Most of his career consisted of operations management roles, including manufacturing manager, plant manager, director, vice president of various operations, chief operations officer, and global VP of manufacturing. He has led operations in Europe, Mexico, China, Southeast Asia, and the United States. His focus areas include business turnaround projects, developing transformation and cultural change systems, acquisition integration, organizational efficiency and structure, and creating professional training programs. In 2024, San decided to retire, spending more time with his family and writing a book that shares the processes and experiences he found helpful during his many years working on organizational transformation and culture change.
