Vilma Barr

Vilma Barr has written, co-authored, and edited books on business, the built environment, and applied technology subjects. For Business Expert Press, she created the Business Career Development group and serves as its Collection Editor. Her responsibilities include initiating books with authors and assisting them with development of content and supporting data and images, and editing completed manuscripts submitted by authors in the U.S. and internationally to BEP for publication. She received a B.S. in Business Administration from Drexel University, and completed a joint graduate program in Organizational Development and Urban Studies and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has been a guest lecturer at the University of Wisconsin; GDI Gottlieb Duttweiler Institute, Zurich; NeoCon, Chicago; and Widener University. Topics she has sponsored for BEP include leadership, presentations, training, business education, sales, and sustainability. As a contributing editor to professional design journals, her columns and feature articles appear in North American and international professional periodicals on topics relating to design and management. She is a member of the Wayne (Pa.) Oratorio Society, and Voices of the Union League, Philadelphia.
