Jin-tae Chung

Jin-tae Chung is a former senior executive of Hyundai Motor Group who played key roles in the company’s global expansion, including its entry into China. He later served as President of Hyundai Motor Group (China) Holding Co., Ltd., overseeing the Group’s China operations.

A graduate of Korea University, he witnessed firsthand one of the most significant corporate transformations in modern Korean business history. The Successor is his account of the events that led to the birth of Hyundai Motor Group and its emergence as a global automotive leader.
