K Virginia Hemby-Grubb

Dr K. Virginia Hemby-Grubb is a professor in the department of marketing at Middle Tennessee State University. She earned a PhD in adult education with a concentration in business education from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1995. Dr Hemby-Grubb was the recipient of the John Robert Gregg Award in 2018, presented in recognition of her dedication and outstanding contribution to business teachers and the profession of business education; the Delta Pi Epsilon National Leadership Award in 2016; and the National Business Education Association Collegiate Teacher of the Year Award in 2014. In 2016–2017, she also received the MTSU Outstanding Public Service Award for the creation and management of Raiders’ Closet. Dr Hemby-Grubb teaches the following courses: professional meeting, event, exhibition, and convention (MEEC) management; business communication; virtual business presentations; career decision making, employment communication; workplace etiquette and protocol; and issues and trends in corporate communication.
