Joël Le Bon

Joël Le Bon is a marketing professor at the University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business and director of executive education for the Sales Excellence Institute. He received a Bachelor of Arts in management science, a Master of Science in marketing and strategy, and a PhD in marketing from the University of Paris Dauphine. He is also an alumnus of the Kellogg ITP program of Northwestern University and was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Pennsylvania State University within the Institute for the Study of Business Markets (ISBM). Prior to joining the University of Houston, Joël Le Bon was an associate professor of marketing at ESSEC Business School in both Singapore and Paris where he also served as the marketing department chair. He has held sales and sales management positions in the media industry, and worked as a strategic account manager for Xerox. He has earned numerous awards and distinctions for his research and teaching. His work has been published by the Harvard Business Review Online, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, the International Journal of Research in Marketing, the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, and Industrial Marketing Management among other academic journals.
