John A. (Jack) Pearce is the VSB Endowed Chair in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at Villanova University. He has coauthored 42 books, 115 articles, and 136 refereed professional papers. Professor Pearce has also served as a principal on research projects funded for more than $2 million. Tamer Cavusgil specializes in the internationalization of the firm, global strategy, emerging markets, and buyer-seller relationships in cross-border business. His professional career spans teaching, research and administrative responsibilities in international business at Michigan State University, Bradley University, University of Wisconsin, and the Middle East Technical University (Turkey). In addition, he served as Senior Fulbright Scholar to Australia and taught at Monash University. Recently, he was appointed a visiting Professor at Manchester Business School, and as Gianni and Joan Montezemolo Visiting Chair at the University of Cambridge, the United Kingdom.
Michael R. Czinkota works in the international marketing field at Birmingham and at Georgetown University. He served in the U.S. government as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce and as Head of the U.S. delegation to the OECD industry committee in Paris, and was a partner in a fur trading firm. Gary Knight is Professor of Global Management and the Helen Simpson Jackson Endowed Chair in International Management at Willamette University in Salem and Portland, Oregon, USA. He has extensive experience in international business in the private sector. Previously, he was Professor and Director of the International Business Program at Florida State University. He has authored six books and more than 40 refereed articles in top academic journals. He is on numerous editorial review boards. He obtained his PhD in international business from Michigan State University and MBA from the University of Washington. He has been an invited speaker at numerous venues worldwide. Dr. Jack Pearce is the VSB Endowed Chair in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at Villanova University. Previously, he held the Eakin Endowed Chair in Strategic Management at George Mason University and was a State of Virginia Eminent Scholar. Dr. Pearce has also taught at Penn State, West Virginia University, and at the University of South Carolina where he was Director of Ph.D. Programs in Strategic Management. He received a Ph.D. degree in Business Administration and Strategic Management from the Pennsylvania State University.
