Kartik Gada is the author of The ATOM (atom.singularity2050.com), an online e-book that examines the new economics of technological disruption, and its impact on governments, businesses, and society. He is the primary blogger at The Futurist, which has received 2 Million visits to date and has had many successful predictions over the last 10 years. Kartik has had a career at the intersection of technology and finance, working at Intel in their long-term vision group, as an early employee at Netgear eventually managing their entire consumer product line, and as the founder of a hedge fund that returned 70%/year from 2009-13. He currently is Executive Director at Woodside Capital, handling M&A for Artificial Intelligence, Fintech, and 3D Printing. He also created The Uplift Prize, an innovation prize in 3D Printing for emerging markets, and teaches a class on Options and Futures at Stanford University.
