Dr. Gary May brings a unique background and perspective to the subject of strategic planning for small businesses. He grew up working in a family wholesale distribution business, May & Company, Inc. Joining the business full time after graduating from Duke University with a degree in business, Gary helped lead the company to consistent sales and profit growth over an 18-year period.

Adam Rapp is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Clemson University. Prior to joining the faculty at the Clemson University, he was a professor at Kent State University. He has been a visiting professor at the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School in Belgium. He has a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut and an M.B.A. from Villanova University with a specialization in strategic marketing.
