Matt Myers

Dr. Myers’ primary areas of research are in global distribution networks, foreign market entry strategies, and comparative marketing systems. His research has been published in a number of outlets including the Sloan Management Review, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Retailing, the Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of Business Research, and the Journal of Business Logistics, and he is co-editor of the Handbook of Global Supply Chain Management. Matt is a former departmental editor for supply chain and operations management at the Journal of International Business Studies, and is a member of the editorial review boards of the Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of World Business, the Journal of International Management, and the Journal of International Marketing.

Matt has taught worldwide in places including The University of St. Andrews, Scotland, Verona University in Italy, and in a variety of other programs in Europe and Asia. At the University of Tennessee he teaches global marketing and business strategy at the undergraduate, MBA, Executive, and doctoral levels. Among his other duties Matt is also Director of Global Business Institute, which is responsible for managing exchange programs and program development at the Tennessee’s College of Business Administration.

Matt holds a Masters in International Business Studies from the University of South Carolina, and a Ph.D. in Marketing and International Business from Michigan State University.
