Michael Ahearne (PhD, Indiana University) is the C.T. Bauer Chaired Professor in Marketing and Executive Director of the Sales Excellence Institute at the University of Houston. Mike's research focuses on the performance of salespeople and sales organizations. He has published numerous articles in leading journals such as the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, and Management Science. He co-authors the leading professional selling textbook, Selling Today, which is currently used in over 30 countries. His research has been profiled in the Wall Street Journal, Business 2.0, Business Investors Daily, Inc. Magazine, and many other news outlets.
