Lea P. Stewart
Lea P. Stewart is a Professor in the Department of Communication in the Rutgers School of Communication, Information and Library Studies. She received her Ph.D. from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, and studied with W. Charles Redding, credited with being the “father of organizational communication.” Stewart’s research in organizational communication has examined issues of employee voice especially focusing on women in organizations. She has published several books as well as book chapters and articles in top tier communication journals. She has received awards from Rutgers for both teaching and research.
