Jürgen Weber

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Weber is the most renowned management accounting professor in Germany. This reflects in a record of more than one thousand publications ranging from practitioner to top-level international academic journals, authoring nearly one hundred books, and the first-ever granting of a Dr. honoris causae for an active professor of accounting in Germany. The books alone have sold more than one hundred thousand copies. His textbook on management accounting (“Introduction to Management Accounting”) is published in English, German, and Chinese. Aged 53, he looks back at a track record of awarding more than one hundred ph.d´s. Also, he serves as the head of the academic advisory board of the International Association of Management Accountants (Internationaler Controller Verein, ICV), the largest central European practitioner organization in management accounting, and founded a permanent large-scale academia-practitioner exchange platform (“Controllerpanel”). Prof. Weber is founder and co-head of CTcon GmbH, a management and management accounting consultancy which has achieved to sustain double-digit growth rates for the past fifteen years.
