Bernard Liebowitz

Bernard Liebowitz, PhD CMC, practices as a management consultant in organization change management, redesign and strategy, as well as providing executive coaching and management development. He has had extensive experience with a large number and wide range of businesses, from the Fortune 100 (e.g., DaimlerChrysler, Roche Diagnostics, CNA Insurance) through midsize companies (e.g., Andrew Corporation, Comark, Lawson, Thomson TFP, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, etc.) to entrepreneurial firms (e.g. A.J. Antunes, The Moose Fraternal Organization, Maine Plastics, etc.) in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries. In many of these firms he has coached numerous executives in new positions and has witnessed first hand the issues facing them.

His early experience as a clinical psychologist, informs his work with organizations and their employees. His undergraduate degree (with Honors) is from Brandeis University in Boston and his doctoral degree in psychology is from the University of Chicago. Dr. Liebowitz has been consulting to business and industry since 1980. He has written extensively about his specialties and has been quoted in numerous newspapers (e.g., Wall Street Journal, Chicago Crain's Business, Chicago Tribune) and magazines (e.g., Money Magazine, Healthcare Financial Management and various trade journals). He has taught organizational behavior and change management courses at the Adler School of Professional Psychology.
