About BEP

Executives, business students and aspiring business owners need reliable, concise information and guidance from experts across the field of business. Historically, business professors have focused on writing journal articles, lengthy monographs, textbooks or topical articles for magazines such as the Harvard Business Review. In most cases some combination of these published works have supported their teaching and/or consulting. Business Expert Press was founded on the proposition that this knowledge can be distilled into a concise, academically reliable, yet no-nonsense applied book.

The Unique BEP Sales Model

In addition to conventional print and e-book sales, Business Expert Press will offer collections of titles for sale through the our global sales force, which is institutionally oriented toward libraries, corporate accounts and governmental agencies. There are more than 7000 business schools world-wide searching for new sources of reliable and user-friendly information. Our sales force will present Business Expert Press collections to business reference librarians as a new content source for their yearly book budget. The modern student rarely visits the library, except through their internet connection, and a large collection of e-books available via the library database is a model whose time has come. Although the Business Expert Press collections are a new product, our sales force is not new to this form of selling having promoted similar databases in engineering and other disciplines.

BEP Is More Than Just Books

Although our focus is on publishing applied, concise books by experts for non-expert business readers, we understand that the typical executive education curricula incorporates cases, readings, articles and, increasingly, non-print media such as premium podcasts. Because we aspire to be a world-leader in executive education, BEP will also offer supporting materials such as cases and readings.
